Reflection of task 8

This week our teacher has proposed us to create a stop motion where we had to explain the ten key concepts that of the Decalogue developed by the platform #porotrapoliticaeducativa related to the basics for a new educational law in Spain. For this we first had to read the document and make a summary of the concepts and decide which were the most important ideas we wanted to show in our video. When we had already selected them, we had to think how we were going to represent them. We came up with different options such as using plasticine dolls, origami figures, drawings ... But finally,we chose to be our own actors and make it with photos because we thought it would be easy to make and the people would understand it better. We wrote a script explaining what happened in each scene and how we were going to record it so that everything was clear and we prepared everything we needed. Then we started to take the photos, while we moved very slowly so that the movement could...

LIKE A PENGUIN IN FINLAND

Image
Hey guys!!!! It's Neón writting! How was your week? Mine was AMAZING!! I have so many things to tell you! So, this week I went to Finland! Yes! Finland! Can you believe it? It was the colddest place I've been so far. There was snow everywhere except for one day that was actually really warm for being Finland and I got to take my boat down the lake! It was so cool! I stayed on a hotel next to the mountains which shape was the most original I've ever seen! Can you guess?... Exactly! An igloo! I felt like a little penguin there! So, anyway, you are probably wondering why I went to Finland. The answer to that is that my groupmates told me about what they were going to do this week as a task and I liked it so much and was very inspired about the hagstag #PorOtraPolíticaEducativa that I started to search for information about it and everybody agreed that the best educational system was in Finland so I went there to know how they worked over there with my own eyes and shar...

Journalist's summary about week 8 stopmotion

This week we had to do a stop motion with the hashtag “#porotrapoliticaeducativa”, but first we read a document about educative politics. On Monday, in our organization class, Linda explained us the task and how to do it, and in the first hour we started sharing ideas for the stop motion. We had some ideas like using clay, or drawing, but in the end we decided to do it ourselves. In the second hour of the class we started thinking in a story for the video and after having lunch we looked for a class and we started recording. As we were making the pictures we had some new ideas to add to our stop motion and make it clearer. On Wednesday everybody had to present their stop motion as if we were in Eurovision and show it to the class.  Once that everyone had shown their stop motion the groups had to vote and give points to the other groups from four to eight and then a ten and a twelve. Firstly we discussed in groups who we were going to give those points and after everyone had it ...

Analyst's reflection week 7.2

This week we did the second part of the 7th's task which was called "Complexity and Relationships." We read the text "teaching and learning in the digital age - Cap. 4". After Reading this text we were told what we had to do and we found it very interesting but complex at the same time. We found it interesting because we think that is a really useful thing to learn about these different aspects for our occupational future. This text go through some topics such as teacher-student connection, which is very important for us to take into account because, we, as future teachers have to be open-minded and ready for receiving student's knowledge and advices because the learning process is not a one way procedure but a rotative one. Another of the chapters from the text is the one which talks about connections with peers, which is really important because children of young ages and adolescent years are really influenced by their friends and classmates, so pro...

WHAT WE DO THIS WEEK

Image
Like every week, on Friday 13rd, Linda upload on the LMS the task for this week. My group and I distribute the document to take a look for the Monday class. On Monday, at 9:30, Linda come to our class and started to explain this task. The task is part of the previous task of last week called “Complexity”, and now we had to work with “Connections and Relationships” in education. The different types of connections are: connections with peers, connections with parents, teacher-student connection, connections within the learning context and connections beyond the classroom. What did we do? We had to write a script for each type where we explained a situation related with this topic. On Wednesday, we were supposed to join with other groups to record this scenes, but Linda had a medical problem and she couldn't come to class. Neón was very sad because he couldn't show the class his pictures of his travel to L.A. Linda apologized to us that evening and told us to record them fo...

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION !!

Image
Hi lovely readers!! This week I have travelled to Hollywood and it has been obviously amazing! I was selected for being the director of a new film called "How to create the word". It is about uhm...no sorry, it's TOP SECRET. It's better that I explain to you what I have done: The first day a did a tour around al the city visiting the most beautiful views of the city. The most incredible thing was that I met Harry Styles! I couldn't get a picture but I promise you that I spoke to him. The next day it was time to work so the managers showed me all the buildings from the cinema studio. It was exhauting to record during 8 hours but at the end the first scene was fabulous. I have to spend here some more days so I'm sorry I can't go to the presentation on Wednesday. I don't know if my group will be ready to prepare a task without me but I think everything will be great. I'll come soon with more news!!  -Neón-

KEY CONCEPTS OF WEEK 7.2

Key Concepts: -Teacher-student connection: it shows the relationship that exist between the teacher and students in oder to create a good environment in the class. Indeed, this is a feedback between both of them, because a teacher usually teaches students, but in some occasions, students can teach teachers in many ways. -Connections with peers: it shows the different roles that are in a class and how relations with peers are not good sometimes, for example, a peer group could not work well together. Moreover, this is good to realize how these connections with peers can influence students at school. -Connections within the learning context: it shows how the content that students learn at school is used throughout our lifes and the connections that are stablished in them. For instance, maths is a subject really useful for our entire lifes simply for buying things or even the alarm clock. -Connections beyond the classroom: it explains that teachers do not have to impar...

ANAYSTS' REFLECTION OF 7TH WEEK

Image
T his week, the project that we had to carry out has been more complex than the rest of the projects, since we have worked using the flipped classroom method in which our teacher, Linda gave us some instructions to make the task in class, which It is very good because it allows us as students to think about the task before starting to work on it and it also helps us to develop our knowledge by working individually, since each of us must first know the work that we are going to carry out and later we met and we shared the previous conclusions obtained. Then, once we have shared our conclusions ... we had to look for some news related to education, since it was one of the parts of the task. The most important thing for us in this step is to have been able to read real news related to our area, of which, we as future teachers have to be informed about all the changes in education, but much more in the impact that can have the current society on it because we must adapt to the changes...

LINKS USED THIS WEEK

Hi there! This week we had to use a lot the internet because we searched there the news for our newspaper. Here are all the links of every page we had used. -Neón-

KEY CONCEPTS

These are the Key Concepts of the Task 7: Complexity : in every organization there is a series of open levels that have connections between them. Knowledge arises through that interaction. Complexity is a way of analyzing and reflecting on certain aspects of nature, society and thought. Context: set of circumstances that surround a situation and without which the complexity of an organization can not be understood correctly. Emerging knowledge: is the knowledge that is transmitted through the interaction of people. These new ideas can emerge by building or modifying prior knowledge Diversity : a very determinant factor in the knowledge that is transmitted and that which is received through interaction, is the diversity of the people who interact. The creation of new knowledge depends on its values, its history, its preferences, beliefs, resources ... Randomness : the complex systems present constant significant changes that affect the system. These changes are...

DAY OF PRESENTATIONS

Image
Hello my lovely readers!! After two weeks of holidays, we came back to our daily routine. On monday, as any other, Linda explained to us what the task of this week was about. We had to work with the complexity of education, reading a file in which explains the differents types of complexities and after that, we had to search actual news related with these topics.  Wednesday was the day most important for our stars beause is the day of presentations. However, this week was quite different because we had to work with people of other groups in order to create a newspaper with all the information that we looked for previosuly. We splited into 5 groups of 10-12 members and we use the tool "Atovist" to do our own newspaper. After two hours of hard-work, Linda gave us some advices to enhance our works. All of them are really good! Do you want to see them? Here you have the links: https://moasteenari.atavist.com/task7 https://goo.gl/zCdSph https://ainhoapm.atavist.com/theory-...
